Built with Boilerplate Lite

Editable sites,
your design

Layout builder, content blocks, image handling, SEO and cookie consent ship with the site.

The frontend is built to the design you send. Type, grid, spacing and motion follow the file, and they keep following it through every edit your client makes afterwards. Without a file, we design it first.

Discover how page templates are built, and which blocks are used, by toggling inspect mode.

Start from your design

The design is yours. The CMS already exists; the frontend is built around it, in the shape you drew.

Your client edits inside that shape — adding pages, swapping images, rewriting sections — and the layout holds. Year three looks like launch week.

Launch your design

Launch your design

The grid, type and spacing follow the design you send.
Rows split in halves, thirds or quarters, and the structure holds at every width.

Hand it over

The editor covers what a client asks for after launch. Sections move, pages appear, colours change and images get replaced.

None of it reaches you, and none of it needs a developer.

Build with blocks

Text, headings, images, video, galleries, sliders, buttons and page overviews. Your client fills columns with them in any order.

Each block renders only what we build for it. A page assembled by someone else still comes out on design.

Set the theme

Four themes, applied per page, per row or per single column. Backgrounds, text and buttons move together.

The combinations are the ones you approved. A client picking dark for one section lands inside the palette, not outside it.

Tune each column

Every column carries an anchor for in-page links, a theme of its own, and control over how its content lines up.

Adjustments happen in the editor, not in your inbox.

Recolour any section

This row is set to black in the editor. One dropdown, same blocks, same stylesheet.

Themes are defined once, while the frontend is built. Every combination after that is one you already signed off.

Build it once

Every element on the page is a component, in the same sense as in your design file. Each one is built once, from your design, and reused wherever it appears.

New sections come out of pieces that already exist. A second page costs a fraction of the first and lands on design without review.

Show work in sequence

Several images in view at once, dragged with momentum. Two toggles in the editor: slides that trail the pointer, and a loop that never runs out.

Cropping and srcsets are set when the frontend is built. Every image arrives at the size the screen asks for.

Unfold the details

A stack of titles, each one a button that drops its answer underneath. Several stay open at once.

A theme turns every item into a panel.

A rough draft carries a build. Send what exists and the frontend is built around it; whatever is missing gets designed as it comes up.

Yours. Nothing on the page, in the editor or in the source points back to us.

The client hears from you.

Hosting, a domain and a one-off licence for the CMS. Nothing recurring, nothing per seat.

It gets built. New blocks are quoted on top of the scope and land in the editor beside the rest, on the same terms.

It comes back to us for a year after launch. A screenshot is enough to start.

Step through one at a time

One image at a time, full width. A drag settles on the nearest slide, and the arrows step exactly one.

Both arrows carry labels for screen readers. The gallery runs on the same engine as the slider, with snapping switched on.

Pull in other pages

Sections that draw from elsewhere on the site: projects, journal entries, services.

Each entry takes its title, excerpt and image from the page itself. A new page appears here on its own, with nobody editing this section.

Quote famous people

Or infamous ones.

“A famous quote”
By an infamous person

Choose a scope

Three scopes. The CMS, the layout builder and the block library ship with all three — motion and moving parts set them apart.

Design is quoted on top.
